BioIs it really that simple to define a person in words? No matter how descriptive I were to get, you still would know me very little just by reading my journal. I am not that descriptive at times, but there are periods when I write about those things that may be more revealing than I had intended.
I am a walking contradiction, but to be completely honest, I believe all of humanity is...even if it is minorly. My contradictions range in dynamic, and I could never even list them all as I am not fully aware of them. I am forever changing, a trait that I am proud of in a lot of ways. It can be frustrating, sometimes I'll expect a reaction out of myself that doesn't come, or I won't expect a reaction where there is one. Sometimes my perspectives change, sometimes my perspectives are more rock solid than I originally thought.
There are certain things that I believe are solid in my life, particular beliefs that I have. They may be expanded on, but I do not foresee them changing.
1.) Family. Whether biological or chosen, I believe family is a very important part of our everyday existence. I stay in contact with my family to the best of our ability, I am very close to my biological family. Chosen family, I am also very close to, although much more picky about who is included in it.
2.) Change. Change is the cause of growth and development, it leads us to the next steps in life and provides the hand rails to hold onto while taking those steps. Besides, a stagnant world would be a very boring world.
3.) The existence of pain is necessary for the existence of happiness. Because how can you appreciate the good times completely if you have never experienced the bad??
4.) Love. Because love has a billion different meanings at any given time, I will not even begin to define it here.
5.) Its all OK in the end, and if its not OK, its not the end.

sixswordsamurai, we have a beautiful daughter who keeps me going every day. I've never felt so busy in my entire life, but its worth it.

Weight Loss
As of May 1st (and more seriously, as of September 17), I have decided to lose 107.8 pounds. My starting weight was 267.8, and my goals are posted below...striked when I meet them.
